Private by design
- Speech recognition and the AI run on the phone.
- No Internet permission, account, cloud or telemetry.
- Android backup is off.
- Audio is held in memory and discarded after use.
- Nothing leaves unless you share it.
Built-in limits
- No wake word and no background microphone.
- Each recording is up to 30 seconds.
- Messages are prepared, never sent for you.
- Dictation only types. It never runs a command.
- Every shared report ends with a time-stamped log of what you said.
For client and patient notes
Sperry never joins a meeting. You dictate your own summary afterwards, and there is no transcript on anyone’s server. That removes the cloud; duties such as privilege, health-record rules and retention are still yours.
