Before you start

Is it really free?

Yes. The software is MIT licensed. If you host it, you pay the AI, database and storage providers you choose.

What does it send to an AI service?

By default, the media or transcript goes to Google Gemini with your key. Check its terms before using sensitive recordings.

Do I need to be technical?

Today, yes. It runs on your own server with Node, Postgres and object storage.

What recordings can I use?

Recordings you own or have permission to repurpose.

Your best moments are buried in long recordings.

Free and open source.
